Volare Aviation has standardized its aircraft fleet on the Progressive Aerodyne SeaRey.

The SeaRey is a two seat, side by side, high wing amphibian airplane. It is categorized by the FAA as a Special-Light Sport Airplane (S-LSA) airplane. As such it has met the demanding standards of both the FAA and the aircraft manufacturing industry.

As you enter the aircraft you will notice that the feeling of the cockpit is very much like that of a high performance sports car or a fighter jet. You will be reclining comfortably and strapped in with shoulder harness, seat belt and life jacket.

The glass instrument panel and GPS navigation systems are impressive and demonstrate the advanced state of the art instrumentation Volare Aviation insists upon for its aircraft. The transparent cockpit canopy can be opened and closed during flight for maximum comfort and visibility.

Because the wing of the SeaRey is located above and behind the cockpit you will have incredible, unobstructed visibility to see the beautiful sights around you.

The Volare Aviation SeaRey flies at a cruise speed of up to 100 miles per hour (87 KIAS), and your flight speeds will vary depending on altitude and weather conditions.
